Kari Dyb is researching the relation between man and machine, or sosiety and technology. Main focus has been sexe and space, and introduction of telemedicine in prenatal care.

Large band technology has made it possible to transfer echos and CTGs between midwives, gynecologists and obstetricians, and thus cleared the road for a new type of integrated care between professions.
