Conferences as an arena for dissemination of knowledge about telemedicine

To The Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine, conferences are an important arena for the dissemination of research results and knowledge about telemedicine and e-health. Our researchers do presentations at international conferences all over the world. They are also in demand at Norwegian conferences and seminars.

In 2006, members of the NST staff gave a total of 405 presentations throughout the year. Every year in June, our own Tromsø Telemedicine and eHealth Conference provides an important meeting ground for scientists, technologists, our partners from the business community and health personnell from countries worldwide. During this conference, they meet to exchange knowledge on this field.

TTeC will not be organized as usual in 2010. Instead, there will be a Norwegian conference without abstracts.
