Research and Development (R&D) at NST

Applied research and telemedicine solutions that are usable in practice are two of the main areas that the NST is focusing on. Telemedicine is a multidiciplinary field, which is reflected in NST’s research and development.

Requirements for research projects at NST

Research projects will result in one or more publications to be quality assured by an established research environment. Agreements between the participants regarding rights in accordance with publications must be settled on.

The NST concieves research as a creative activity which is executed in a systematical matter to achieve greater knowledge. All work that is defined as research is to contain a newsworthy element. Research is deeply rooted in a scientific tradition and aims at re-examinable methods.
