Chain of Trust ”Understanding Patients’ and Health Professionals’ perspective on Telehealth and building confidence and acceptance”	2011	The "Chain of Trust" project started off in January 2011 with the overall objective of assessing the perspective of the main end users of telehealth services across the EU to see whether and how views have evolved since the initial deployment of telehealth and what barriers there still are to building confidence in and acceptance of this innovative type of services.
Regional Telemedicine Forum (RTF)	2010	The forum is a european meeting ground for clinicians and decision makers in the health services. In the forum they can discuss effective methods for implementing telemedicine in clinical practice. The primary focus will be the chronic diseases COPD, diabetes and cardio-vascular disease.
KITENPI	2010	KITENPI takes it’s starting point in the identified European objectives to use ICT to address health issues, the aging population and inclusion of marginalised groups, and also the global need to move towards a low-carbon economy.
Renewing Health	2010	Renewing Health is an EU project focusing on the use of self monitoring technology tools for the patient and the combination of such tools with regular health services.
Join-In	2010	Join-In addresses methodologies and technologies for elderly persons to enable them to participate in social activities such as games and home-based exercise-games, e.g. for physical exercises improving the health for elderly and chronically ill.
New Telemedicine Activities in the Palestinian Territory	2010	This project is an extension of the project Palestinian Telemedicine Network that was finished December 2009. This new project aims to sustain and further develop the existing telemedicine services in Palestine, develop e-learning based on identified needs and give further assistance in the implementation of services, helping to sustain and expand the use of the infrastructure. The project started in September 2010 and ends in August 2013.

Competitive Health Services in Sparsely Populated Areas - eHealth Applications across the Urban-Rural Dimension	2008	The aim of this project is to enhance the provision and accessibility of health services in the sparsely populated areas of Europe.
MyHealth@Age - Improved Health, Safety and Well being for Elderly People living in Northern Periphery regions	2008	Many elderly people feel unsafe outside their homes. This limits their social contacts and physical activities. MyHealth@Age aims to provide products and services to make it possible for elderly people to feel safer and live a more active and healthy life.
Romanian Pilot Centre for Telemedicine	2008	The development of telemedical services is in its early stage in Romania, but there is a pressing need for alternative and innovative solutions in the health sector. This feasibility study will show what services should be chosen and a consolidation of the project team for a Romanian Pilot centre for Telemedicine.
PERSONA: perceptive spaces promoting independent aging	2007	The European FP-6 project PERSONA aims at the development of sustainable and affordable solutions for the social inclusion and independent living of Senior Citizen through harmonisation of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) technologies and concepts.
R-Bay	2007	The vision of R-Bay is to extend traditional eRadiology by creating an eMarketplace, a many-to-many connection, which will function as a commodity brokering and exchange of radiology services.
The Constellation for AIDS competence: Global learning for local impact	2007	The project Global Learning for Local Impact is a joint collaboration between the Constellation for AIDS Competence (Constellation) and the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine (NST).
Better Breathing	2007	A new model for continuous care of chronic patients - eCare, eRehabilitation, eCommunity and eLearning for patients with breathing handicaps
Cogknow: helping people with light dementia navigate their day	2006	The European Cogknow project aims to develop technological solutions to help people with mild dementia experience greater autonomy and feelings of empowerment and enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
Palestine Telemedicine Rehabilitation Network	2006	This project will aim to establish the first National Telemedicine Rehabilitation Network in Palestine. The network will link the four national rehabilitation centers in Palestine to each other and to relevant rehabilitation centers abroad.
WHO/European survey on eHealth consumer trends	2005	The NST/ WHO collaborating centre for Telemedicine is co-ordinating an international survey on eHealth consumer trends. Key issues of the study are: Social gap related to the digital divide, public health, trust and monitoring.
Technology supported delivery models for behavorial family interventions	2005	How can preventative family skills be more effectively developed and maintained with the support of information and communication technologies?
Baltic eHealth	2004	NST participates in Baltic eHealth. Together with partners from five Baltic countries a physical health infrastructure will be established, making possible eHealth services between the countries.
What is the science in telemedicine?	2004	The aim of the study is to review telemedicine and eHealth research literature to analyze and critique disciplinary, theoretical and methodological approaches. The review was a follow-up of a WHO-initiated workshop in September 2003, focusing on methods for evaluating telemedicine.
Anti-Tuberculosis Network in North-West Russia	2003	Supporting anti-tuberculosis treatment by use of computer networks.
Telemedicine in Afghanistan	2003	The Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine wants to investigate whether it is feasible to use telemedicine in the education of female health personnel in Afghanistan.
TeleRemCare	2002	TeleRemCare, Implementation and evaluation of telemedicine in remote health care, was a joint project between the northern regions of Scotland, Finland, Sweden and Norway. The aim of the project was to exchange and disseminate experiences with telemedicine in sparsley populated areas.
Mayflower - Web cource via satellite	2002	The Mayflower project aims at immediately promoting on the market interactive telecommunications applications based on existing platforms, to enable the delivery of university courses in Medicine and, as a successful system, in other academical fields.
I-Discare	2002	This experimental system combining medical, information and satellite technologies appears as a valuable tool to support medical services in remote and mobility situations including disaster context.
eHealth in the Northernmost Regions of Europe	2002	The aim of the study is to find and define a common development topic in home care/ rehabilitation in the North Calotte region.
TELemedicine ANYwhere (TelAny)	2001	Satellite-supported emergency medicine. This project aims to demonstrate medical treatment of patients onboard ships in case of emergency medical situations.
A Mobile Telemedicine Unit for Use in North-West Russia	2000	Development and test of a portable telemedicine unit for emergency and screening purposes in Arkhangelsk Oblast County.
Nordic Telemedicine Network	2000	Networking project aiming to provide an overview of telemedicine activity in the Nordic countries.
Videoconference link with Archangel	1999	Establishing a 128 kb/s videoconference link to Archangel.
Arctic Telemedicine Project	1999	In 1999-2000 NST participated in a project initiated and funded by the Arctic Council, regarding use of telemedicine in the arctic region.
Telemedicine in Northwest Russia	1997	The overall aim of the project was to develop and strengthen telemedicine collaboration between Arkhangelsk Oblast and Northern Norway.
