TTL - Tromsø Telemedicine Laboratory
In 2006, The Research Council of Norway chose Tromsø Telemedicine Laboratory as one of 14 centres for research-based innovation.
Accordingly, The Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine (NST) has established a strong technological community, designed to strengthen innovation through long-term research.
The research will be done in close cooperation with research-intensive businesses and outstanding research communities, both in Norway and internationally. Research results from Tromsø Telemedicine Laboratory will provide the basis for new businesses and products within health and ICT, covering a growing global demand.
During its 15 years of existence, The Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine has gained extensive competence and experience in using technology for health purposes. Several businesses have developed as spin-offs from the NST.

Research for the future
